Lot Details

pale greyish-buff coloured clay. Flat inset base with a dark brown circular spur; integrated foot ring, flaring , slightly squashed, cylindrical body with a slightly everted lip. The exterior wall carved with a band of wide vertical lines; the cavetto carved with an eight-petalled stylised flower bordered with two incised lines; the upper inner rim incised with two . The upper foot ring, exterior wall and mouth with a craquelured celadon glaze. Cat. Note/Ref.: Cf.
